You’re just stuck. Not in your usual happy place. And you just can’t get out of your head.
Didn’t matter that it was a beautiful morning for a run. Cool and clear and crisp. (Well crisper than usual anyway, only 70-odd degrees.)
Didn’t matter that the birds were singing and there was no traffic to slow me down.
Same worries just circled around and around and around.
